You want shift up/shift down set instead. Then on my sequential shifter, I press forward to shift in auto, back to shift back into neutral, and back again to shift into reverse. Thanks, I'll try that. It's like that for me but I like it, I use the 3rd gear for forward, 4th gear on my shifter is reverse. hey, I use automatic transmission and I have seen in the controls settings : adaptive automatic transmission. what is the most realistic one to choose? and also I feel that my brake is not realistic and there is a slider in the gameplay settings for the brakes sensitivity, what is the most realistic for the brakes sensitivity? thanks

Copy the [truck].scs file you want to modify and paste it into the folder with the SCS Extractor tool. Drag the truck file onto the scs_extractor application and wait for it to work. When it's done, you'll have a bunch of folders. The engine files are under def > vehicle > truck > peterbilt.389 > engine.
FFB plugin v2.2a (17.05.2015) Changes: 1) Real physical model of steering wheels self-stabilization. 2) 5 new G27 LEDs modes. 3) for more real steering feel, you have to adjust steering ratio to real truck values. Default steering ratio is 900/ (35*2)=12.86.

I was towing a heavy load and noticed extremely slow acceleration. So much so, that I was worried about the hills common in Italy and dreaded toll booths. Adaptive automatic transmission mode keybind : r/trucksim Adaptive automatic transmission mode keybind Hey, does anybody know if it's possible (e.g. with a mod or a plugin) to add a keybind for switching adaptive automatic transmission modes (eco, normal, power) without having to go to the settings?

but basically it tweak dependence curve between throttle pedal and ratio between torque and power the transmission prefers. eco mode is mostly torque oriented (faster upshifts, keeps lower rpm) while power mode is more power oriented (slower upshift, keeps higher rpm). and kickdown in all cases. Nobody can tell you anything about it.

play3r_93 Mar 6, 2017 @ 11:11pm. Not sure why you are limited to only 60, unless the retarder is on or you need to go up a gear. The stock button to enable cruise control is C unless you changed it in the settings. EDIT: Oh btw the retarder has multiple levels, up to 5 on some trucks. So to completely disable it you may need to hit the decrease How to change from manual to automatic in Euro Truck Simulator 2? From my understanding is simple auto - W = go and it cycles gears S = stop and once stopped, auto into reverse. Real Automatic W = throttle but separate keys for shifting gear (shift) S = brake , you have to switch it into reverse with (ctrl) yerroslawsum • 5 yr. ago. Yup, figured that one out as well, but thanks for clarifying!

Technically, yes. All of the trucks in both ETS2 and ATS are modeled with automatic transmissions. However, SCS gives the option to play the game with a manual transmission or a sequential transmission to give players more options. But, if you want to stay true to how the trucks in the game were modeled, real automatic is the most realistic choice.

16 items. Description. This mod will improve your automatic transmission significantly! No more wild shifting! No more useless high RPM! This mod tries to keep your engine rpm within the max torque range. When low on throttle -> Engine tries to keep low RPM -> early upshift. When normal on throttle -> Engine tries to stay low RPM -> later upshift.

Re: Real Automatic - Gear Shifting under 1500rpm. and change "adaptive Automatic Transmission". when you press the gas pedal (a real one has 2 stages, the normal stage and a power stage). when you press the gas pedal to it's max the rpm jumps from 1000-1400 to 1500 and then climbs to 2000 rpm. while it should just climp to 2000 but faster Basically, in eco mode you have to depress completly the pedal for the gearbox to "kickdown", while in power mode, you will probably have to simply depress at a third of it, with normal being between these 2 extremes. nothing like IRL (IRL, on integrated powertrain such as Volvo engine with the i-shift gearbox, it also change the power produced Step 1: The first time you load into the game every time the gearbox is going to be set to low range and the splitter will be in low. So if you put it into whatever gear position is gear 1 it will be gear 1L (depending on transmission of course). Step 2: Press your clutch in and put your shifter where first gear is.
