A fan favorite game in the franchise has to be Fallout: New Vegas. Set apart from other titles in the franchise, the game takes place in the Mojave Desert and former Las Vegas of the post-apocalyptic game world, and featured some of the series best moments and characters. This includes its DLC, and one of those fan favorite DLC’s is Dead Money.
New Vegas without a doubt, old world blues alone beats anything from fallout 3, they're all just so unique and memorable, while fallout 3 DLC (apart from point lookout) just felt a lot less inspired I guess, still pretty enjoyable though.

Bananus19999. 2. Posted May 10, 2018. Hi I had problem with my mods apparently I got the message missing masters for some mods, while I have the DLC's. LegionArizonaOverhaul.esp depends on DeadMoney.esm, HonestHearts.esm, LonesomeRoad.esm.
You can play all of the DLC whenever you want in the main story. Except for Lonesome Road. You should play that when you're done all the other DLCs and are nearing the endgame. Generally I'd recommend: Dead Money/Honest Hearts>Honest Hearts/Dead Money> Old World Blues>Lonesome Road. Showing 1 - 7 of 7 comments.
You can start DLC upon leaving Doc Mitchell house. Do whatever you want before starting end game. As long as it's done before end game. It has no impact on the playthrough. "I was young and I needed the money!" The DLC enemies have a lot of level scaling, so the difficulty hold up to later in the game.
The difference between Fallout: New Vegas standalone and the GOTY edition is about $12 during the Steam sale, so I'm curious if the DLC is worth it. I wasn't at all fond of the Fallout 3 DLC. I'm pretty limited on funds for the summer sale, but I don't want to miss out if there is something really cool in there.
